McBride alums forecasted in June '09 that the Cards would lead the division in late August by 8 games over the Cubs. The Micks' prediction was made at Ozzies after much discussion. For the record, on Sunday 8.23.09 the Cards lead the Cubs by 8 with a .568 winning record!
